Plan and subscription
Your plan defines how many active screens you can run at once. Each active device consumes one slot. Slots are contracted in blocks, monthly.
Check your plan
Profile → Subscription:
- Contracted slots (
max_devices) - Slots in use (active devices in
pantalles) - Free slots (the difference)
- Next charge and renewal date (managed in Stripe)
- Pending decrease — if you've requested a downgrade, you can see what it'll drop to and when.
Adding slots
Two equivalent paths:
From Devices → Add
Click + Add and choose how many devices to create.
- If you have enough free slots, devices are created instantly. No extra charge.
- If not, the system calculates how many extra slots are needed and shows:
- Proration — cost of the extra slots until the end of the current cycle.
- Card to use: your saved default card, or enter a new one.
- After payment, the devices are created automatically and you receive an email with the invoice PDF attached.
From Profile → Subscription → Increase
Same as above but doesn't auto-create devices. Useful for reserving slots you'll fill later.
Reducing slots
Profile → Subscription → Decrease.
- The change is not immediate. The reduction is scheduled for the start of the next billing cycle.
- Until then you keep your current slots and are charged for them. This avoids weird prorated refunds.
- You receive a confirmation email explaining when it will take effect.
Reversible — you can cancel the decrease any time before the cycle ends: go back to Profile → Subscription and raise the plan to its previous value, or click Cancel pending decrease if that option appears.
Restrictions
- You can't reduce below the number of active devices. Delete devices before lowering the plan.
- If automatic billing fails (expired card, insufficient funds), you'll get a Stripe email with instructions. The plan isn't reduced automatically; it's marked past_due.
Invoices
All invoices (initial sign-up, prorations, monthly renewals) are at Profile → Invoices with direct PDF download.
