Digital Menu
Digital Menu is a paid add-on that puts your restaurant's menu on the phone at every table. Guests scan the QR code on their table, see the menu with photos and allergens, and order from their own phone. The ticket appears instantly on the kitchen screen, already tagged with the table number.
This is an optional add-on: it is bought separately from your device plan. You can have it with no devices at all.
Price and trial
- 10-day free trial when you activate it.
- Then 39 €/month on your saved card. Cancel any time.
- Also available annually with 10 % off.
- The charge is aligned to your device subscription's billing day (or the 27th if you have no devices), prorating the first month so everything bills together.
Activating the add-on
- In the sidebar, open Add-ons → Digital Menu.
- Press Start 10-day trial.
- Choose the card for the charge (or Add card if you have none saved) and confirm.
- It is active immediately. Nothing is charged during the trial.
Building the menu
With the add-on active, Add-ons → Digital Menu opens your restaurant's panel.
- Menu — create sections (Starters, Seafood, Desserts…) and add dishes.
- Per dish: name, description, price, photo, allergens, tags (vegan, gluten-free, spicy) and which kitchen station it prints to.
- Available — untick a dish that has sold out. It stays on the menu, greyed out and unorderable.
Dish options
A dish can ask the guest to choose: "How would you like it cooked", "Sauce", "Temperature". Mark a group as required and the dish cannot be added without choosing.
Tables and QR codes
Under Tables:
- New table — one at a time, or Create several to generate "Table 1 … Table 20" at once.
- Print QR codes — a print-ready sheet with one card per table. Cut out and laminate.
- New QR — regenerate a table's code. Use it if a printed code leaks or someone abuses it: the old one stops working immediately.
Each QR leads to that specific table's menu, so the ticket arrives identified without anyone having to ask where it came from.
Kitchen screen
Under Settings → Stations you manage the kitchen screens. Each station (Kitchen, Bar, Desserts) has its own link and sees only its own dishes.
- Open the link on any tablet or PC in the kitchen.
- Tickets are ordered oldest-first and turn amber, then red, when they have been waiting too long.
- One tap marks a dish or a whole ticket Ready or Served; ✕ voids it.
- Pause orders stops the dining room when the kitchen is overwhelmed.
- New link invalidates a screen's link (a lost tablet, someone leaving).
Closing a table
When the table pays, close it from the kitchen screen: under Open tables, tap the table and confirm Close table.
Closing it:
- settles the bill and frees the table for the next party,
- marks any ticket still open as served,
- and moves everything into History.
If food is still in the pass, the screen warns you before you close.
History
History shows one row per closed table: what they ordered, how long they stayed and who closed it. Tap a row for the full ticket, dish by dish.
Amounts are frozen at closing time: change a price tomorrow and what a table paid last week does not move.
History is informational. It does not replace your accounting or your POS's fiscal receipt.
The bill
Guests can view The bill on their phone: what they have ordered, totalled, and tell you they want to pay — saying whether it will be cash or card. The request appears on the kitchen screen.
The bill is an informational amount, not an invoice. The fiscal receipt is still issued by your POS or till. That notice always appears and cannot be removed.
Syncing with your POS
So you don't maintain the menu twice. Under POS, connect your till and decide what it controls:
| Your POS controls | Yours, never touched |
|---|---|
| Names and prices | Photos and descriptions |
| Availability (sold out) | Allergens and tags |
| Which dishes exist, and their section | Translations and design |
- Preview changes shows exactly what will happen before applying it.
- Anything that disappears from the POS is hidden, not deleted: if the dish returns, its photo and translations are still there.
- Dishes you created by hand are never touched.
- Automatic sync every 15 minutes, hourly or once a day.
The Glop API requires a Business + Glop Cloud licence. It is not available on the basic tiers.
AI design
Under Design, describe your restaurant ("Galician seafood, rustic and warm") and the menu adapts: colours, typography and rhythm. Always on the same legible template, so it cannot come out broken or unreadable — text contrast is checked and corrected automatically.
- Preview before publishing; nothing is visible to guests until you press Publish.
- History of styles, with one-tap rollback.
- Base styles (Costa, Trattoria, Izakaya, Bistró, Taquería, Nordic) if you would rather not use the AI.
- Layout — top tabs, side menu, collapsible sections or no navigation.
- How dishes look — decides whether photos are shown.
- Images — logo, header and background. Saved on upload and not lost when you change style.
Languages
Under Settings you choose the language you write the menu in and the ones you publish. Translate menu translates the whole menu at once, and guests see it in theirs.
Available in Spanish, English, Catalan, French, German, Italian, Portuguese and Russian.
Buffet and set menus
Under Settings:
- Show prices — turn it off for a buffet or a set menu: per-dish prices and the total disappear.
- Maximum dishes per order — counts units, not lines. Stops one table ordering the whole kitchen at once.
- Wait between orders — seconds between tickets from the same table.
- Waiter confirms — tickets wait for a waiter to accept them before reaching the kitchen. Useful if someone uses the QR for pranks.
Cancelling
You can cancel from Profile → Marketplace. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period: you keep access until the renewal date and are not charged again, so service never cuts out mid-shift. You can reactivate before that date without losing anything.
FAQ
Does the guest need an app? No. They scan the QR with their camera and that is all.

How many restaurants are included? One. Get in touch if you need more.
Does the bill count as an invoice? No. It is informational; the fiscal receipt comes from your POS or till.
Do I lose my menu if I cancel? You keep access until the end of the paid period. Reactivate before then and you lose nothing.
