Workspaces

Workspaces (or Spaces) organize your devices by location — hotels, stores, offices, floors. The device list is grouped by workspace, with its name, address and number of screens, and you can apply default content to an entire workspace at once.

It opens from the side menu, under Workspaces (just below Devices). Each workspace also appears as a sub-item in the menu: when you click it, the device list is filtered by that workspace.

Workspaces are per company. You need screen management permission to view them, and modification permission to create or edit.

Create a workspace

Workspaces → New workspace. A form opens with:

Click Save. You can switch between Card view and Map view with the header toggle, and search with Search workspace….

Assign devices to a workspace

Assignment is done from the Devices page, not from Workspaces:

If the workspace (or its parent workspace) has default content, it's applied to devices that are free (with no content of their own or with the demo one). If a device already had content, the system asks you to confirm before replacing it.

You can't move a device to a workspace belonging to another company.

Edit and delete

From Workspaces, each card offers edit and delete.

Difference from Companies and branches

Companies and branches are the billing and permissions structure (who sees what, who gets billed). Workspaces are a layer of operational organization within a company, designed to group screens by location and apply content to them in bulk.
