Playlists

A playlist is a sequence of videos and images that the agent plays in a fullscreen loop.

Creating a playlist

1. Playlists → New.
2. Assign a name and the owner company.
3. (Optional) Start date and time — if you fill these in, the playlist is scheduled: it will only play from that moment and can be assigned to multiple screens at once. Playlists with no date are immediate.
4. Click Continue.

Playlist editor

The editor has two columns:

• Left — available content for your company (Videos / Images tabs). Items already in the playlist appear dimmed, but you can drag them again to reposition (no duplicates are created).
• Right — the current playlist with preview, title, type and time.

Adding content

• Drag an item from the left to the right. If you drop it at a specific point (between rows or on a particular row) the insertion respects that position.
• Multi-select — tick several items on the left and drag any one of them: all of them are inserted in order at the drop point.
• Add button — appends the ticked items to the end of the playlist.

Reordering

Drag any row of the playlist to another position. Two blue indicators show whether you're about to drop above or below the target row.

Per-item time

Images need a time (in seconds) — default is set in the Time field below the left panel (30 s if unspecified). Videos always play in full.

Removing

Tick the rows and click Remove selected in the header of the right panel.

Provisional behaviour

Until you click Save, changes are local: adding / removing / reordering doesn't touch the database. If you close the dialog with Close, the playlist keeps its original state. This lets you try the order without fear of breaking anything.

Assigning a playlist to a device

Two ways:

1. Per device — Devices → Actions → Edit kiosk → Playlist mode → pick the playlist.
2. Per playlist (scheduled only) — Playlists → playlist row → "Assign devices" — tick every device that should play that playlist on the scheduled date.
