Welcome to Digital Signage RDS
Digital Signage RDS is a digital signage platform managed by Promotienda that lets you control remote displays (Android or Linux) from a centralised web panel.

- You upload videos and images to the web panel and organise them into playlists.
- The server keeps the list of devices and which playlist each one is assigned to.
- The agent installed on the display (Android or Linux) polls the server every few minutes, downloads new content and plays it back fullscreen.
Once a device is configured, everything is managed remotely: changing a playlist, adding a video, changing the kiosk web URL or the admin-menu password — all of these apply automatically on the next agent heartbeat (typically under a minute).
What hardware can I use?
- Promotienda purchase — plug & play. Arrives configured with your device ID, your playlist and optionally the venue's WiFi credentials. Plug it in and it plays. Includes 1 year of free RDS licence.
- Your own Android — install the Android agent APK. Supports Android 5.0+.
- Your own Linux — install the Linux agent. Supports Debian 12+ and Ubuntu 22.04+, with or without a desktop environment (X11 or bare VT).
